Trading terminals
Seats and tiers, billed onchain
Desks that live onchain should not be invoiced by email. Price the terminal per seat or per desk, and let the period collect itself from a wallet the desk already funds.

How it runs
Priced, counted, collected
The desk signs once. Everything after that is a record rather than a negotiation.
Desk tier
price_desk_seat
Seats move during the month. The period bills what the desk actually used.
What a desk gets
- Or per desk
- Per seat
- Billing
- In arrears
- Per desk
- One wallet
- Settlement
- Instant
Charge a seat price, a flat tier, or a minimum with seats on top.
The period closes on the seats actually used, not on a forecast.
The desk approves once. Nobody chases individual traders for payment.
Stablecoins land on the chain the desk paid on, to an address you control.
Questions
Before you price the desk
- Can seats change mid-period?
- Yes. Record the seat count through the API as it moves, and the period bills what was actually used when it closes.
- What if the desk wants to pay from a multisig?
- They pay from whichever wallet they connect, on any network you accept. The approval and the collections run against that wallet.
- How do we handle a desk that outgrows its tier?
- Move them to another price. The subscription keeps its history, and the next period bills at the new one.
